Christmas Eve Dylan sprinkled the Magic Reindeer dust he made at school in the yard. Brynn carefully counted, and then recounted after Daddy snatched a few, carrots and cookies and left a note all on her own. Then the kids willingly went to bed and Santas helpers got to work...
We didn't want them sneaking down in the morning without us knowing...
It was a good Christmas morning with our little family...
Santa brought the kids a Razor GoCart. Dylan got his basketball hoop. Tyler got his Green Machine.
AND [insert highest pitched scream you've ever heard] Brynn got her own tablet - a Samsung Galaxy Tab3... not a phone like she wanted but I think this will do. And she was very mature about it... she understood that because hers cost more she had less presents to open, and she was just fine with that. And (so far) she has been very willing to share.
Kate liked spotting the presents that had her name on them.
Also at the top of Dylans Christmas List to Santa was a Dog House & Dog Toys. He and Kate (and their friends) like to play "puppy" or "cheetah". And he really wanted to get those items. But Daddy wasn't thinking that was such a good idea. So being the lucky boy that he is with a pretty ingenious mom, he got a useful dog bed instead. So fun and yet also practical since he likes to sleep on the floor many nights inside his bunkbed house in his room.
He wasn't disappointed at all that I made the switch. In fact, all the kids are quite jealous of him. And after he opened that Kate kept wondering when she was going to open her kitty bed :{
And I'm the luckiest girl ever... each of my kids got me a ring (and I can stack all 4 of them together)...
Preston was maybe filling a little jipped since I bought him so much needed underwear for Christmas (among some other things). But his mommy came through with his coveted Sperry's (shoes). But as soon as he took them out of the box one of the kids said, "Hey, those look like they were suppose to be for Dallin! Those aren't for you!" :)
And the next best part of Christmas day is just lounging together, hanging out, and playing. Tyler LOVES the electrical circuit experiment kit we got him. At one point he and Daddy were working on one of the projects and they were trying to figure something out and Tyler said, "Dad. Just let me do it. Watch and learn." :)
