The last couple years we have hosted Thanksgiving at our house - we've loved having Mom & Dad and TJ & Family come for the holiday. However, this year was a little different because it was just TJ and Family... Mom and Dad couldn't come (they had just been in Texas to visit Steven and Kellie and meet baby Penny and so Dad couldn't get off work). But it still made for a great holiday visit!
We had all been trying to convince Steven & Kellie to come home for Christmas. But they were worried about bringing baby Penny because with that many people in one house someone always seems to get sick. And sure enough one morning Kate woke up with a tummy ache (it really didn't last long at all) and nobody else got sick the rest of the week.
But TJ was cute and fun and doctored this picture up and we sent it to Steven to show him how awesome family holidays were... you know, totally convincing him to come.
It was funny. We had to give him a hard time about being worried. We always live through these get togethers no matter who or how many get sick ;)
Stopped by to see the planes one day after we had gone bowling...
One of Kates unicorns had a scratch... I mean corneal abrasion... and Uncle TJ fixed it right up for her. He is obviously learning a lot at optometry school.
In fact, he noticed a thingy on my eye (that I've had for a bit) and he decided he needed to take care of it. I wasn't as trusting as the unicorn... I thought Julia was taking pictures. Neither TJ nor I knew she was actually recording us - we both may have been on better behavior had we realized :[
Thanksgiving Day we all worked together to make a great meal!...
Thanksgiving Day was also Uncle Steven's birthday so we video chatted and sang to him...
Seriously he was so cute I had a hard time leaving him...
At one point we gave him hideous facial hair to match TJ...
