Soccer and Baseball

Last year Tyler did baseball and Dylan did soccer.  And it just so happened that this year they swapped... Dylan tried out baseball and Tyler went for soccer!  The girls and I spent a lot of time at the fields watching practices.  But it was totally worth it because these two were loving it :)  Dylan liked practice and when he was up to bat... but the games ended up being boring and long for him - which is just how it is at that age when there isn't much to do in the outfield.  But both of their seasons have now ended so here it all is in a nutshell...

Just some stuff...

We got to hang out with Elsa and Anna at our friend, Berlyn Sharps birthday party...
Dylan and Kate are always excited for the older two to get home from school...
Kate really likes to play on the treadmill and on the back of the couch.  She got stuck between the two one day...
Preston had a mishap with his box jump during one of his work outs...
A picture Tyler drew of our living room wall where Dylan was standing...
We have these itty bitty frogs every where right now and the kids just love them...
Kate helping me out with my chores so I can hurry up and play with her...
I went to a fun closing BINGO social for the Tyndall Officer Spouses Club...
...I did win quite a few things so that was nice!

Our community pool opened finally!  And we went for playgroup one morning but didn't want Brynn and Tyler to find out because we knew they would NOT be happy we went without them for the first time...

Pretty much any one who plays Ticket to Ride can appreciate what an amazing game I played against my dad (who really did do all that bad himself, I just did extra good)...

Father Son Campout

The Stake held a Father Son Priesthood Commemoration Camp-out this past weekend.  My boys were excited...  well the younger two were ;) Preston only went because he knew he couldn't let those two down.  Look at the smiles on their faces!!!  They also loved that we had to buy a tent.  And I may have gotten them head lamps to play with and apparently had a blast with them all night.
The locals here are serious about this kind of stuff.  Preston felt very out of place in his khaki shorts, flip flops and sunglasses.  Next time I'll have to buy him some camo and boots :P  But he admitted that they certainly know how to cook!  The hot dogs were so big that Dylan didn't believe they were hot dogs at first.  They battered and fried onions to put on top. And they had huge kettle of baked beans cooking on the fire.  They lit their massive bonfire with a blow torch connected to a propane tank - I mean doesn't everyone?!

From their reports it got a tad bit chilly that night.  Oops.  But the next morning they had fun climbing trees and catching frogs.  Love these pictures Tyler took...
Unfortunately for PJ they boys loved it so much they want to do it again sometime... :) Guess its a good thing we now own a tent!
