Crooked Island Beach

After a fun week the Pepers had to leave on Saturday to head home.  On Sunday we had our 5th Sunday Branch Potluck after church.  So we planned ahead and brought a change of clothes so we could go on a beach walk afterwards.  AND we decided to explore a new beach.  For years we have driven passed the entrance for Crooked Island Beach - its basically just in between the Base Beach and Mexico Beach (the two we always go to) - so we finally went and checked it out.

Of course we had beach time while the Pepers were visiting...

Every year the kids and I build a sandman snowman.  And each year its gotten a little better and a little bigger.  And this year I realized I could use the slave labor of my brother.  And so it was the biggest and best one we had ever made...

 Seriously he was so cute I had a hard time leaving him...

At one point we gave him hideous facial hair to match TJ...
