Last of the Peterson Trip

Devyn's leaving me.  She has to move to Texas.  And so she and Cyndee came over one night for a going away surprise.  She decided to gift us with a Korean Cooking class.  It was perfect and scrumptious.

We went bowling...

We hung out...

We went to see the new movie Inside Out...

And finally!... one of our guests can attest to the fact that we have pet bears!  This guy raided our trash, ate it in the woods behind our house, then walked right up to our window and down our street.  And the Petersons saw all of it!!!!!

Such a great two weeks.  But then it was good bye... for now...

MXS Tour

Our BFF First Sergeant Steve Young was in charge of putting together a "Spouses Tour" for his squadron.  Cyndee was sweet and asked Steven if we could tag along.  He was nice and said yes.  Unfortunately I had a conflict.  But Jill and the boys had an awesome morning getting an up close and personal behind the scenes tour of the MXS (the Maintenance Squadron) and learning about their mission.  They even got to see things that couldn't be photographed.

  Um yeah... they even got to drive a Bomb Loader...

 Such a cool thing!  I was so jealous I couldn't be there.

Boating again!

I loved having another excuse to rent a boat for the day - we needed to take Jill and Teneill out on the water!!!!  Of course we took them over to explore Shell Island. 

First time EVER we did not see dolphins while out on the water :( It was so disappointing.  But there were lots of little fish out... totally didn't make up for it but the kids loved it...

 No better way to spend a Saturday!  And for some reason this particular activity always wears Kate out because she always ends up sleeping on the boat (that's saying a lot for my kid who didn't nap long).

Sadly, this was my last boat ride for a while :(  Preston is our licensed and legal boat renter and he's leaving us of course.
