Making Fun of Me

Dylan will sometimes be a little difficult while we are trying to put him down to bed, or when he wakes up in the night, because he will be crying simply because he lost his pacifier and all we have to do is go in and get it and put it back in his mouth. However, we usually have to do this several times in a row and its kind of annoying.
Well, last night after I woke up to feed him I went back in to burp and change him only to see that he had put his bottle down, found his pacifier HIMSELF, and was peacefully cuddled up with his blankie. I got back in to bed around 3:30am to proudly (wake and) tell PJ what his son had finally done for the first time - and what was his groggy response...
PJ: "How 'bout you go take a picture so you can blog about this momentous occassion tomorrow..."
Me: "Good idea honey!"
So there you have it - Dylan successfully found his own pacifier in the crib last night. Maybe he will keep it up and make our lives a little bit easier...
