Gratitude is a wonderful quality. The ability to be grateful, and feel thankful, makes life a little sweeter. My life is very sweet. Our Thanksgiving trip to Arizona provided me the opportunity to reflect on a few of the things that I am most grateful for...
I feel the benefits that are received from having a little down time. Fun and games and relaxation and sleep does the soul good.

It pleases my senses to have food to eat, fresh air to smell, kids laughter to hear, hands to feel and hold, and friends to see. (Brynn with cousins Lauren and Jessica)
Its refreshing to know that babysteps can take us somewhere. To know that we don't have to conquer Mt. Everest all at once. But that by line upon line, precept upon precept, with a little effort on our part, we can reach new heights, we can become a little better, and be a little stronger.
(Dylan teaching Mia Peterson to make baby steps)
It pleases my mind to know that there are teaching moments all around us. That there are times, that can't be made, that bond us to each other from the things that we can learn from each other.
(Tyler and daddy)
I am forever thankful and deeply appreciative for the knowledge of etermal families. For the comfort and peace I find in my life knowing that I am with my family (as extended and big as that may be) now and for always and forever. That is what the gospel is all about. That is the Plan of Happiness. My family makes me happy.

I welcome imagination and finding joy in the little things. It is an amazing thing to slow down and experience life through the eyes of a child. There's nothing as magical as seeing a box instantly transform into a rocketship, and tape into seatbelts, and an aunts fingers into tickle jets that blast them off for hours of fun.
