Preston has a friend at work, Mac Hennage. He's cool and lives on the water. And he was super sweet and took my boys out on a boat ride one Saturday. They were SO excited. And what made it even more exciting for them is that it was just a boys trip - no girls allowed.
It was an awesome boys outing for these brothers...
That was on Saturday. The day the Youngs left. Our good friends Steve and Cyndee Young had the opportunity to go to Sweden for a family event. And I offered to watch their three children Cade (12), Blake (11), Khloee (4) so they could go on a nice couples trip (for 10 days). Well, Preston happened to have to leave the very next day for a TDY to Texas... convenient I know ;) It was an interesting and very busy week as a single mom of 7. But we managed just fine. And Preston came home Friday night. Saturday the 4 oldest - Cade, Blake, Brynn, Tyler - went and participated in a program called Jr. Raptor. Here they spent the day learning about deployment. They got to do and see lots of cool things and I wished, really wished, I could have followed them around and taken all sorts of pictures. Oh well, Preston told me I needed to relax and let them just go have fun where I wasn't all up in their business/fun snapping away. And so we went back and picked them up ("welcomed them home") that afternoon...
And then we hit the beach with the DeSio's and Christensens...
And then on Tuesday the Youngs were back and our life calmed down a bit.
Oh! and last Friday we also had the opportunity to Google Chat with my family while the Warrens did a little gender reveal for baby #4 where they found out they were having a...

Okay, so many things to comment on. Loved the pictures of the boys driving the boat. So serious. Loved it.
Loved the picture of Tyler saluting (with Brynn and the other boy). He looked like a real, live military guy. Oh, and LOVED PJ's comment about not being all up in their business. That had me laughing. Sounds like Jonah (only he would have worded it differently). :)
Loved the picture of Kate buried in the sand with that hat on. And loved the picture of Dylan with the goggles and board. His poor ears. =)
Great pictures! Glad you survived the week.
So now they can watch yours while you come to guam right? But bring your kids anyway actually!
