Christmas!

Christmas Eve we went to a Candlelight Christmas Eve service at the small chapel on Base.  We didn't have much of a Christmas Eve dinner to speak of since we were leaving town the next morning.  But it was a nice evening.  And then the kids went to bed.  And then the kids woke up :)

Santa brought us a big bag full of all sorts of games for us to play together as a family...

Pretty much as soon as the excitement died down we loaded up a few of our new treasures and spent the rest of the day in the car driving to Gramma and Grampa's house... because that's where we really wanted to be :)

Holiday Happenings 2

Last weekend, when Annette was here visiting, was a busy one for us.  Sunday after Church the Branch ate lunch and then went caroling at the nursing home in Port Saint Joe.  The primary had made cards that they handed out while we caroled in the halls.  And then they performed some special songs in a room at the end.

The day before, on Saturday, was the Branch Breakfast with Santa that "Preston" was in charge of.

 As it turns out this was our kids only visit with Santa this season...

...These pictures of Santa's Lap made me realize, once again, how big our baby girl is really getting!
