So this morning we woke up and headed over to the Farm where we had breakfast at the Country Restaurant with the Easter Bunny. Everyone enjoyed it except Dylan who absolutely screamed whenever the Bunny came in sight and he continued to have a death grip on PJ until the Bunny could no longer be seen.
Then we went out and held the baby bunnies and chicks...
And they did a great Easter Egg Hunt...
Brynn got her face painted and we all went on a tractor ride...
Brynn and Tyler played miniature golf with Uncle Steven...
We decorated and ate cookies...
We saw another Easter Bunny and planted some beanstalks...
It was a fun, crazy morning...
I even had a couple of presents to open...
Katy made me darling washcloths and towels to match my apron she made me at Christmas. And I had mom give Steven my birthday money so he could put together a 72 hour kit for me. The knife he included in it used to be my Uncle Steve's.
And of course there was cake...

...only I don't particularly love cake. So instead I decided to get a treat that I do love but can never justify or rationalize actually buying myself - Ice Cream Snickers Bars!!
It really was an Egg-celent birthday!

Happy Birthday, Kelly! Glad to hear it was a great day. Didn't you miss Midwestern's Easter egg hunt just a little though? Did you color your hair?You look great!
Looks like you guys had SO much fun!! Love the knife picture. I'm jealous that you got Uncle Steve's knife, though. How did Steven part with that?? And loved your birthday cake. Sorry we missed you when we called!! Hopefully you got our message. Happy birthday!
