Santa "Fun" Run

The holidays are keeping us busy :)  Love this time of year!

The base was doing a Santa 5k Fun Run and Annette asked Brynn if she'd like to go run it with her.  Amazingly (after doing her last GOTR 5K a few weeks ago which she did not enjoy) she said yes.  I think it was because she just wanted some one-on-one Grandma time but who cares, whatever it takes to get her back in the saddle is fine with me ;)  And so yesterday they did their run.  And by all accounts she did very well.  As I was tucking Brynn into bed last night I reminded her how proud I was of her for trying it again.  She responded that I would have been happy because she didn't even whine or cry at all and she only had to stop like four times just for a tiny bit.  I replied that yes, that makes me very happy.  And I asked her if she noticed how much better of an experience it was this time around since she had a better attitude.  Her response?!... "Oh no.  I still didn't like it!  That was not fun.  But I did it anyway."  :)  That's my girl  :)
