PJ and Tyler had spend the couple weeks before the holiday being sick. And Brynn and Kate had it a little on and off. I managed to stay healthy. Then right before Christmas and company I got the cough PJ had had. And Brynn got a sore throat and Dylan was just sick. We were hoping to get everyone healthy before everyone arrived and the fun began. PJ even checked the kids out and got some of them antibiotics at the last minute (which Dylan couldn't keep down). But no luck.
You could probably tell that Dylan was a little sickly in the Christmas pictures (and that's why everyone wasn't at the Christmas Eve service together). Then on Christmas PJ announced that he was 90% sure that Dylan had pneumonia :{ So, the morning after Christmas, PJ went into work and I joined him later with Brynn and Dylan. Brynn's culture actually came back negative for strep but she obviously had something going on with her tonsils and adenoids. And after an xray it was confirmed that Dylan had pneumonia :( This boys was very sad... especially knowing this meant he had to have a shot. It took three of us to pin him down and get the shot in him. And he was started on another medication and breathing treatments (BUT he didn't have to be hospitalized at least!).
And on the short drive home we stopped by the Marina. I stayed in the car with a sleeping Harper and a sick Dylan while everyone else went down to the beach there to enjoy the pretty sunset.

Those pictures of Dylan make me so sad. From one family sick over the holidays to another--I'm sorry. That's the pits. Glad you still got in some fun and sweet moments!
Poor Dylan!! Some of those pictures were just so sad, and you could tell he wasn't feeling good in those bowling pictures. Being sicks over the holidays is the pits.
I still can't get over how red and long and curly Kate's hair is.
I loved the bowling pics of Kate. So cute!!
