Any Resemblance??!? Part II

**Guest post by Preston***

Driving home from church today...
Kelly- "How was your Priesthood lesson on work and personal responsibility?"
PJ- "Fine."
Kelly- "Well, I am feeling inspired to start instilling a better work ethic in our family. I really think we can do a lot better with teaching our kids about hard work. Its so character defining. How about doing a chore chart or something to start?"
PJ- "Fine."
A few minutes later trash flies out the car window as we are driving home on a beautiful day...
Kelly- "Ugghh!!!! I really want to go somewhere and have my car detailed!!!"
PJ- "Huh? What happened to your work ethic project?"

:) can you come detail my car when you are done with yours? Better yet, send your kids over to do it for their work ethic lesson. Let me know when you find something that works for your kids!

Keddy, what's the true story? (I only half believe this one -- the part about the trash flying out the window and you wanting to get the car detailed.) :}

Haha...I can totally see this conversation happening!!! Nice! I will send Clay over...he just finished yelling at me about our cars and how we need to keep them clean.

Ha! Sounds like a replay of a conversation Scott and I just had last night...
"...need to teach the kids to clean up before getting something else out..."
"...time for a new keep the house clean plan..."
oh yeah and my favorite: a very gentle "so when are you going to vacuum out your car?!?!"

And for the record, nope! I don't see any resemblance! :)

Sounds like you need to change your password or something, Kelly, so you don't have any more guest posters. Although ... I did find the story very funny. ;)

Ha! I know those feelings of teaching and then dreaming of hiring a maid at the same time! Love it!
