We aren't hard core Disney goers - for more than one reason, more of which I'll explain later -but one is because when we go we don't push ourselvers or our kids over the top. We take it easy and if we don't see it all we don't see it all. But we've done what the kids wanted to do... even if that means spending our time on some of the same rides without seeing others. Well, one of the advantages to this is that when ever we are lucky enough to go back we still have many things to explore and discover. And this year was no disappointment.
The Bakers helped us explore the California Adventure park where we hadn't spent a ton of time before. We loved Toy Story Mania, King Tritons Carousel, and even found the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail (Brother Bear area). The kids were in heaven with all the forts, nets, ropes, slides, etc. They could have run around there all day I think...

And one night we even stayed late to have a picnic along song Paradise Bay where they have a new World of Color water and lights show. It was kind of a disasterous night due to Kate throwing up and having wet clothes, Brynn freaking out about Kate struggling, kids being tired, strollers going down stairs, food missing from our picnic boxes, flashy light bracelets not working, etc. :) There always has to be some fun... and that all happened while the two dads were off having fun on California Screamin'. But Megan handled the chaos and the show was amazingly beautiful.
