Temporary Sanity

Temporary Sanity... that was the name of our beach house.
Months ago while we were trying to organize and plan this family vacation Preston accidentally sent out an email calling it Temporary INsanity... which it may have seemed at the time... trying to coordinate every ones schedule, find a nice affordable place that was still available, have everyone get the same week off of work, find plane tickets and cars with room to pick everyone up, plan menus and just get things figured out. But honestly it wasn't that bad and everything amazingly fell into place.
And Temporary Sanity is exactly what the week was. It was a good place for us.
Here are a few more random photos and events:

One day while out on a walk Laura found this "Dog House" and came right home to tell us so we could take the kids cause she knew how our boys do love their hotdogs. And of course we stopped in on our way to the beach one day...

Just preciousness...

Gavin showed up with this uh... manly beard...

...Kate found him rather scary :) And he ended up shaving it.

It used to be that Brynn was still a little too young to 'play with the big girls'. So I was a little anxious about how the week would go. But the sweetest friendship between Lauren and Brynn started right away and they did everything together all week long...
Several nights they handed out invitations that invited us to their many performances that they had worked on for hours (thanks Heather and Gavin for working with them!!). We got to attend a wonderfully choreographed dance, a puppet show with their homemade puppets, and a magic show...

After the girls danced their dance to Katy Perry's Firework, the boys decided they were feeling inspired and wanted a turn. So they got down to Justin Beibers' Baby sung by the chipmunks. These two had us rolling on the floor!...

Maybe you had to be there... but it gets a little funny in the middle. Their crazy, impromptu moves even broke the fireplace - good thing we got the $59 insurance - no actually we fixed it pretty easily.

And Kate and Grandma enjoying the ocean...

Well it sure looks like you guys had lots of fun! Jack is jealous of Tylers Transformers Masks...he keeps making me enlarge the photo of Dallin and Laura with the masks on! And the dance video is too cute!

Yeah, no toddler dance video would be complete without some crotch-grabbing moves... Very nice!

Oh my heavens. That video of the boys. I was laughing so hard. You have such talented children. Brynns pictures were cute of her dancing.

I never would have imagined Dylan dancing like that. It was so funny!! And what is this madness of going to a hotdog place? Does Tyler even remember me anymore? =} Please remind him that we will be going monday for lunch!!! :]
