Santa's Magical Kingdom

Last night we drove an hour west to Eureka Missouri, where we met up with our friends, The Harmans, for dinner at St. Louis Bread Company...
Probably we didn't need to drive an hour to see them, or to find a Bread Co. But what made the drive worth it was that next up on our agenda was to go to Santa's Magical Kingdom...
We went on a drive through millions of dazzling lights and scenery. Kate couldn't contain her oohs and excitement - that was pretty cute. And honestly, she had a right to 'ew' and 'ah' because I don't think I've ever seen more christmas lights in one place before.
And then we went into Kringle's General Store......where Tyler and Brynn bravely hand delivered their letters to the Jolly Old Man and we got our first family photo with Santa for the season.
Kate looks thrilled doesn't she?!... but at least she didn't cry. And neither did Dylan; he climbed right up into his lap when Santa patted his knee. We are off to a good start.

I'm upset that I couldn't blow up the pictures. They looked so cute! What a fun evening. I would definitely drive an hour to do that. did the kids get to keep the santa hats? Those were cool!
