Deck the Halls!

So its taken me 8 years of marriage to get him to do it; but last week Preston FINALLY decorated the outside of our house for the holiday. And honestly I'm not sure why its taken him this long since this is his absolute favorite time of the year?!? But whatever it took... probably the kids and not me... he did it!
K, psycho... it didn't take him long to realize that shorts and flip flops weren't the best idea in 20 degree weather.

And while he was decorating outside. The rest of us focused on the inside. Not sure what Kate thought about all of the hullabaloo....

And 3 hours later he was pretty much done - done, and frozen to the bone!

Good thing we have a neighborhood rule that says you can only decorate up to the lower gutter line... PJ actually came inside at one point to ask me what I thought about him taking the ladder up to the roof?!? Good thing I had the law on my side!

And please ignore the 4 year old in short sleeves with no coat dashing around outside and a 2 year old freezing his patootie off in just his diaper. Tacky I know. But you only live once! And he couldn't go to bed without seeing the lights first!
